Hawkstone Homes

Hawkstone...

Hawkstone comprises 154 acres that sits at the very western end of the Great Plains. Its gentle southwest slopes look down on the small farming community of Eaton, Colorado. Its northern border abuts the open green spaces and stately trees of Eaton's Country Club. All around lie rich fields of corn, sugar beets and alfalfa. Directly to the west is the towering massif of Long's Peak and the sprawling profile of the Front Range. It's everything you'd want home to be.

Hawkstone is a master-planned community - a rich balance of smaller and larger lots, patio and townhomes, generous open space, a pond, and trails for walking, jogging and biking. Hawkstone also includes a recreational clubhouse and pool. Hawkstone has only open boundaries - with both the Eaton Country Club and farmland.

All of this on space designed for one-third the residential density of the average Northern Colorado city.

Hawkstone's covenants and restrictions are designed to make a harmonious (but not rigidly uniform) community, with a high degree of property protection and appreciation.

In short, Hawkstone has success planned in.

The Location...
Hawkstone is highly central, with easy access to all the places people have to go - work, school, shopping and recreation. Located just Northeast of Eaton, Colorado, it is a direct 18-mile drive to Fort Collins, with little traffic and lots of open scenery. It's a 13-mile drive to Windsor. Greeley is only 7 miles away. Both U.S. Highway 85 and I-25 lead to Denver and its airport, an hour-and-a-half away.

Half an hour away are the spectacular scenic and recreational resources of the Rocky Mountains - everything from skiing to hiking to camping to world-class fly fishing. Fifty miles to the north is Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Hawkstone is just far enough away.

Eaton...
Eaton, Colorado is a small agricultural community of 4000 people. Despite its interurban location, it preserves a small town atmosphere reminiscent of an earlier America - warm, friendly people, a low crime rate and a relaxed, homey atmosphere in which neighbors actually talk to each other. Sometimes for hours.

Eaton's schools have an excellent reputation, both for academics and the high degree of community participation in their sports. The student-teacher ratio is among the lowest in Northern Colorado.

Community Events and special days are frequent and varied. Eaton enjoys a community center and park, a public library and many churches. It also has all the major conveniences - a grocery, a hardware store, gas stations, two banks and offices for professionals such as doctors, attorneys and accountants.

But that's all - no malls, no high-rise buildings, no sprawling discount stores. Like Hawkstone, it's a place for living.
